About

DofaBuilds is a Satisfactory series about planning first and building second.

Every factory starts in Satisfactory Modeler (opens in a new tab), a free community planning tool built by David Price. I work out the numbers: what I need, which machines, how much power, how many belts. Then I build it in the game, exactly to that plan, and show how close reality gets.

The rules

• Planned in advance, in Satisfactory Modeler.
• Metal only. Foundations are FICSIT or Grip Metal, never concrete or asphalt. The whole factory reads as one steel structure.
• Dark and industrial. The whole map becomes one big machine.

How a session works

1. Plan the build before the session.
2. Build it live.
3. Log it here: plan versus reality, screenshots, blueprints and downloads.

Who makes it

I'm Dofa. Platform engineer by day, factory planner by night.

Your factory will be assimilated.
